When you use the Movi AI Service, you upload photos, images, and text prompts that are processed by our AI models. These photos and images may contain face data, including facial geometry, facial features, and facial expressions that are necessary for our AI-powered features such as face motion, lip sync, beauty enhancement, and anime filters. When you contact Movi AI's support team, you may provide additional information relevant to your inquiry.
Information Collected Automatically: When you use Movi AI, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and time zone. We also collect usage data such as the features you use within Movi AI, the frequency and duration of your sessions, the types of content you create, and your interactions with the Movi AI interface.
Information from Third Parties: If you sign in to Movi AI using a third-party service (such as Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In), we may receive certain profile information from that service, such as your name and email address. Movi AI only receives information that you have authorized the third-party service to share with us.
Movi AI uses the information we collect for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the Movi AI Service, including processing your photos and text prompts through our AI models to generate videos. To personalize your Movi AI experience and recommend features, content, or settings that may be relevant to you. To communicate with you about your Movi AI account, respond to your inquiries, and provide customer support. To send you important notices, such as updates to our Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy. To send you promotional communications about new Movi AI features, products, or services (only with your consent, and you can opt out at any time).
To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the Movi AI Service, helping us improve our AI models and user experience. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities, and to protect the rights, property, and safety of Movi AI, our users, and others. To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
To deliver our video generation features, Movi AI uses fal.ai, a third-party AI infrastructure provider. Before any data is transmitted to fal.ai, we will ask for your explicit consent within the app.

Your photos and text prompts are transmitted to fal.ai solely to process and generate the video output you requested. fal.ai acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose, including training their own models.

Your consent and control:
When you first use an AI-powered feature in Movi AI, you will be shown a clear in-app consent prompt explaining what data will be shared, who it is shared with (fal.ai), and for what purpose. You must explicitly accept this prompt before any data is transmitted. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@makemovi.com; however, this may limit your ability to use certain AI-powered features.
Certain features of Movi AI — including face motion, lip sync, beauty enhancement, anime filter, and AI dance — require the processing of face data derived from the photos you upload. This section provides a complete explanation of how Movi AI collects, uses, shares, stores, and retains face data.
4.1 What Face Data We Collect
When you upload a photo containing a human face to use with an AI-powered feature, Movi AI processes the image to extract face data. This face data may include facial geometry (the shape and structure of facial features such as eyes, nose, mouth, jawline, and their relative positions), facial landmarks (specific points on the face used to map facial features), facial expressions (the position and movement of facial muscles), and skin attributes (skin tone and texture information used for beauty enhancement). Movi AI does not create a unique biometric identifier or "faceprint" that could be used to identify you across different services. The face data is derived solely from the photo you provide and is used only in the context of your specific processing request.
4.2 How We Use Face Data
Movi AI uses your face data exclusively for the following purposes: (a) to generate AI-powered video content that you have explicitly requested, such as face motion videos, lip sync videos, AI dance videos, anime filter transformations, and beauty-enhanced content; (b) to accurately map and animate facial features in the generated video output; and (c) to apply visual effects and transformations to the face in the generated content. Movi AI does not use face data for facial recognition, user identification, authentication, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than generating the specific video content you have requested.
4.3 Sharing of Face Data with Third Parties
Face data is shared only with our third-party AI infrastructure provider, fal.ai, as described in Section 3 of this Privacy Policy. fal.ai processes face data solely to generate the video output you requested and is contractually prohibited from using face data for any other purpose, including training their own AI models, facial recognition, advertising, or sharing with additional third parties. Other than fal.ai, Movi AI does not share, sell, license, or disclose face data to any third party for any reason.
4.4 Storage of Face Data
Face data is processed on secure servers operated by Movi AI and fal.ai. During processing, face data exists temporarily in server memory to complete your video generation request. Movi AI does not permanently store extracted face data (such as facial geometry or facial landmarks) in any database after the processing is complete. The source photos you upload, which may contain faces, are temporarily stored on our servers only for the duration necessary to complete video generation and are automatically deleted from active servers within 24 hours after processing is complete. fal.ai does not retain face data or uploaded content beyond the time necessary to complete the processing request.
4.5 Retention of Face Data
Movi AI does not retain extracted face data (facial geometry, facial landmarks, facial expressions, or skin attributes) after the video generation process is complete. Source photos containing faces are retained on our active servers for no longer than 24 hours after processing, after which they are automatically deleted. Generated video outputs, which may visually depict faces, may be stored for a reasonable period to allow you to access and download them. You may request the immediate deletion of all your content, including any generated videos containing face data, at any time by contacting Movi AI at info@makemovi.com. Upon account deletion, all associated content including any face data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
When you use Movi AI's video generation features, the photos, images, and text prompts you provide are uploaded to our secure servers and processed by Movi AI's proprietary AI models and, where applicable, our third-party AI service provider fal.ai (see Section 3). This processing is essential to deliver the core functionality of the Movi AI Service, including photo-to-video conversion, text-to-video generation, AI dance effects, anime filters, face motion, lip sync, and beauty enhancement.
Movi AI takes your content privacy seriously. Your uploaded photos and generated videos are processed in a secure environment. We do not share, sell, or distribute your uploaded media or generated content to any third parties for their own purposes. Your content is used solely to provide the Movi AI Service to you.
Uploaded content may be temporarily stored on Movi AI's servers for the duration necessary to complete the video generation process. Once processing is complete, uploaded source materials are automatically deleted from our active servers within a reasonable timeframe. Generated videos may be stored for a longer period to allow you to access and download them. You may request the deletion of your content at any time by contacting Movi AI at info@makemovi.com.
Movi AI may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our AI models and the overall quality of the Service. This data is stripped of personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify individual users. Movi AI does not use your personal photos or identifiable content to train our AI models without your explicit consent.
If Movi AI ever introduces a feature that involves using user-contributed content for model training purposes, we will provide clear notice and obtain your explicit opt-in consent before using any of your content for such purposes. You will always have the ability to opt out of any such program.
Movi AI does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their commercial purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Third-Party AI Service Provider (fal.ai): As described in Section 3, Movi AI shares photos, images, and text prompts with fal.ai solely to process your video generation requests. fal.ai is contractually bound to use your data only for this purpose and to maintain confidentiality and security standards equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy.
Service Providers: Movi AI works with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors (via App Store and Google Play), analytics providers, and customer support tools. These service providers are contractually bound to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to Movi AI and are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.
Legal Requirements: Movi AI may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. Movi AI retains your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Movi AI Service. We also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Face Data Retention: As described in detail in Section 4.5, extracted face data (facial geometry, facial landmarks, facial expressions, and skin attributes) is not retained after the video generation process is complete. Source photos containing faces are automatically deleted from our active servers within 24 hours after processing. Generated videos that visually depict faces are retained to allow you to access and download them, and are deleted upon your request or upon account deletion (within 30 days).
If you delete your Movi AI account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, including all face data and content containing faces, within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping. Anonymized data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical and research purposes.
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information held by Movi AI:
Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Movi AI holds about you. Right of Rectification: You have the right to request that Movi AI correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
